Coffee time with friends at home with a single requirement to take part in it: take a cake or desert with you! The goal was to do a tasting so I though it could be funny and lovely to tag each cake with its specific name. To do it I just used cream coloured paper, glue and toothpics. For my own carrot cake I created a kind of party decoration with two toothpicks, a thread and triangular pieces of paper.
Sugar on fire!
Waiting for the water to boil was a boring issue till this great magnet pack arrived at home. Although the words are in English and we speak Catalan as mother-tongue, it helps us entertain while we keep improving our English skills :P
In love with this Dino's jumper I bought some days ago at Zara. I actually like pretty much all the Trafaluc's collection :P
Newspaper, tissue or painting...you can cover the "love" cardboard structure with whatever you wish. Only important thing: remember to leave the support's space just bechind each letter to let the word stand for its own.
A funny aperitif to welcome our guests at lunch. Just needed cherry tomatoes (cut them by half and make a short cut to simulate the wings), black olives (a quarter for the head and small pieces for the spots) and parsley leaves to decor. After the first surprise, add some oil, vinegar and salt to eat it.
A very easy idea to make the breakfast time a bit more special moment. You just need a piece of cardboard, white sewing thread and one of your favourite cups. Perfect for St. Valentine's morning ;)
A kind of improvised photo session at home with a pregnant couple of friends. The desaturation effect and the isolation of the “Baby on board” poster brings a powerful result :)
